Dan Holton is CEO of Cypris Medical, a startup focused on improving outcomes in plastic surgery by developing and commercializing medical devices that enable minimally invasive treatments.
Cypris Medical’s core technology, Xact, replaces two of the oldest technologies in surgery, the 100-year-old needle holder and the 70-year-old forceps. The first application of Xact will change the face of plastic surgery with an FDA approved solution that combines the performance of traditional facelifts with the efficiency of facial injections.
Dan possesses over 24 years of experience as a business developer in healthcare. He has been integral in medical device design and commercialization for a number of global leaders, including Hospira, Kimberly-Clark Health Care, Abbott Vascular Devices and Abbott Diagnostics. He also spent time with McKinsey & Company – developing a versatile skill set that includes operations management, marketing and strategic planning.
Dan received an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University and a BBA in finance from the University of New Mexico.
