Biography
Saranya Wyles, M.D., Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Dermatology, Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Dr. Wyles did her undergraduate studies at Barnard College, Columbia University then pursued a research fellowship at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. She attended the Mayo Clinic Medical Scientist Training Program and completed her residency in complex medical dermatology. Dr. Wyles has over 15 years of research experience in regenerative sciences. Her laboratory studies cellular senescence as related to age-related dysfunction from wound healing to scar formation. Dr. Wyles also engages in clinical translational research in regenerative bioaesthetics including the evaluation of topical platelet-derived exosomes on skin rejuvenation (sponsored by Rion Aesthetics, LLC). She is the recipient of the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging Career Development Award. Dr. Wyles was recently appointed the Program Director of Clinical Regenerative Medicine Education at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
