Biography
Scott joined Viveve in early 2013 and became CEO in May 2018. He previously served as the company’s CFO. He is committed to leading Viveve’s clinical and commercial development of its CMRF technology to solidify its position as a global leader in women’s intimate health. Prior to Viveve, he was CFO of publicly traded Aastrom Biosciences and served as Chief Operating and Financial Officer for privately held Prescient Medical. Scott spent several years as a financial consultant for two publicly traded biotech companies, Scios, Inc. and Alteon, Inc. As an investment banker in the healthcare and M&A groups at Lehman Brothers, Scott successfully executed over $5 billion in transactions for medical device and biotech companies, following his role as Director of Neurophysiology for Biotronic, Inc.
Scott holds a BS from the University of Michigan and an MBA/MPH in Health Management from Yale University School of Medicine and School of Management.
