Biography
Sean Shapiro is a seasoned sales executive with 19 years’ of experience in the Aesthetic Health Care Space. He has successfully navigated multiple new product launches, led sales teams, managed P&L, and built infostructure that helped lead to the sales & acquisitions surpassing over a billion dollars in leading companies such as Soliton, Ulthera, and CoolSculpting. We look forward to leveraging his extensive experience as we continue to grow and expand in 2022 and beyond.
Most recently, Mr. Shapiro was Vice President of Commercial Operations at Soliton Inc., a start-up Aesthetic Company that manufactured the Resonic technology, which was recently sold to Allergan / Abbive for $550,000. Before Soliton, Sean was the Global VP of Sales at Viveve, a Women’s Health Company that manufactures patented CMRF Technology, where he recruited and led a sales team that generated approximately $40 million in revenue in the first few years of launch. Before this, Mr. Shapiro served as Senior Director of the North America Device Division at Merz, where he successfully led a team of over 70 sales professionals and helped launch Cellfina, a cellulite treatment device that generated $15 million in sales during the first year, along with Ultherapy, an industry-leading skin tightening device masking over $100,000 in sales and was acquired for $650 million by Merz. Preceding Ultherapy, Sean managed, led, and contributed to the success of top Aesthetic companies in various roles at Coolscupting and Lumenis earning multiple sales and performance awards.
Mr. Shapiro received his B.S. in Marketing and Communications from the University of Arizona.
