Alfredo Hoyos, MD

Dr. Alfredo Hoyos is a world-renowned plastic surgeon from Bogotà, Colombia.

He earned his medical degree from El Rosario University in Bogotà, where he specialized in plastic, aesthetic, maxillofacial, and hand surgery. He went on to complete three visiting fellowships in New York in aesthetic surgery, maxillofacial surgery, and aesthetic facial surgery.

Dr. Hoyos is a pioneer in the cosmetic surgery industry. He has invented and refined multiple surgical techniques for safer, more effective operations. His most notable contribution to the industry is the High-Def Liposculpture technique that has revolutionized the way that surgeons looked at liposuction.

But, Dr. Hoyos didn’t stop there. He went on to push the envelope with these innovative procedures, Hi-Def’s fourth generation cousin that incorporates four-dimensional liposculpting for the ultimate contouring result.

He also leads educational courses that teach other surgeons from around the world to perform his techniques at the Dhara Clinic in Bogotá (Colombia).
