Eric Simso

Eric Simso, CEO of Zift Medical, has been active in medical device technology for over 25 years. Zift is developing an implantable device for the aesthetic surgery market to secures soft tissue to bone. The first application is a minimally invasive brow-lift, which is done through a series of 2mm incisions under local anesthesia with dramatically reduced recovery time and cost compared to current approaches. The company has recently completed enrollment in a First-in-Human study. Prior to Zift, Eric founded Brightwork Medical, a medical device consultancy which worked with both large and small companies to understand and develop markets and strategy. From 1995 to 2010, he was employed by Boston Scientific where he was the VP of Cardiovascular Marketing, a $4B division, and later Vice President of Strategic Alliances.
