Richard Chaffoo, MD, FACS, FICS is a triple board certified plastic surgeon practicing aesthetic plastic surgery and hair restoration surgery in Southern California. Along with his wife, Susan Stuart, MD, FAAD who is a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and laser expert, the doctors offer the full range of aesthetic (cosmetic) medical and surgical procedures. Dr. Chaffoo is a KOL for Venus Concept, the medical device company which makes the world’s only robotic hair restoration device. Dr. Chaffoo teaches and trains other physicians who are interested in hair restoration and lectures internationally to plastic surgery societies. Dr. Chaffoo is the medical advisor to Stemson Therapeutics, a La Jolla biotech company that is developing a regenerative model to treat hair loss in men and women. He is a medical reporter for Fox 5 TV San Diego and has recently published a book for the public on hair loss solutions.
