Biography

Sandra (Sandi) E. Peterson is playing a transformational role at Johnson & Johnson – a company with one of the world’s 10 largest market capitalizations and the largest company in healthcare. Sandi oversees the Consumer, Consumer Medical Devices and Medical Devices businesses which generate approximately $40B, more than half of J&J’s total revenue.

Her portfolio includes such iconic brands as Johnson’s Baby, BAND-AID, TYLENOL, Neutrogena, AVEENO and ACUVUE, as well as surgical, orthopedics and interventional solutions vital to healthcare systems and providers worldwide. She is also responsible for J&J’s global supply chain, technology and operating infrastructure. Sandi is driving the companywide use of technology and design to create breakthrough solutions and new business models that will radically improve healthcare.

Sandi is a member of the Microsoft Board of Directors. Sandi was a founding member of Women Corporate Directors, and is a member of Women’s Forum and C200. She serves on the Rutberg & Company Wireless Influencers Board of Advisors. She is a member of The American Academy in Berlin, a research and cultural institution focused on fostering a greater understanding and dialogue between citizens of the U.S. and Germany. She was formerly Chairman of the Board of EcoHealth Alliance.
