Louis P. Bucky, MD, PC

Louis P. Bucky, MD, is Clinical Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Bucky received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed residencies in general and plastic surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, also in Boston. He then pursued fellowships in surgical research at Massachusetts General Hospital, microsurgery/breast reconstruction at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and craniofacial surgery at the University of Miami.

Dr. Bucky’s research focuses on the biology of fat transplantation and clinical efficacy of novel fat-grafting techniques. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and past president of the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, abstracts, book chapters and editorials and has been honored with many awards from magazines and honorary societies. He performs over 1,000 cosmetic facial, breast and body surgery procedures each year. Since 2001, he has annually been named “Top Doc” by Philadelphia Magazine and one of “America’s Top Doctors” for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery by Castle Connolly. Dr. Bucky’s clinical work also has been featured on national television programs including Good Morning America, Healthwatch and CNN News. He lectures both nationally and internationally on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Simeon Wall Jr, MD is an aesthetic plastic surgeon in private practice and co-founder of SurgiStem Technologies, a medical device and research company focused on fat transplantation and stem cell technology.

Dr. Wall Jr earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Wall Jr completed his combined General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residency at Stanford University.

Dr. Wall Jr is credited with the development of Expansion Vibration Lipofilling (EVL) and SAFELipo®, a non-thermal, process-approach of comprehensive fat and volume management incorporating mechanical emulsification and separation, liposuction, fat redistribution and internal expansion fat transplantation. Dr. Wall Jr has published multiple manuscripts and book chapters, has performed live surgery at multiple international symposia and presented over five hundred national and international lectures & courses on six continents. In addition to his surgical practice, Dr. Wall Jr holds multiple patents for medical devices and is active in leading research and development at SurgiStem Technologies.

Dr. Wall Jr served two terms as a Traveling Professor and is on the Board of Directors for The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). Dr. Wall Jr is the immediate past President of the Louisiana Society of Plastic Surgeons. He serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UT Southwestern and as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport.
